Thanks to Salford Lads Angling Club for allowing us to use their water. As expected - our recent run of poor weights came to an end once we got on a water with a reasonable head of fish.
As expected - our recent run of poor weights came to an end once we got on a water with a reasonable head of fish.
Everyone caught well for the first two hours - then the sun came out and killed it stone dead until a few started catching again in the last hour.

1st Bob Morris       6lb 12oz
2nd Adam Mack     4lb 4oz
3rd Ben Gresswell    3lb
4th Paul Carr          2lb 14oz
5th Duchy Phil        2lb 11oz
6th Barry Carney    1lb 140z
7th Mike Duddy     1lb 7oz
8th Phil Clayton         15oz
9th Duchy Jordan        6oz
10th Duchy Baliff        4oz

Weights were comprised of roach and rudd, with the top 3 anglers making up the better weights with crucians. Sadly no one could get into the decent carp and tench - which seemed to be pre-occupied in the sunshine.

Irwell Restoration

Nice to see that things are gathering pace - Salford Friendly are heavily involved in the EAs Irwell plans - and your continuing support and a membership approaching the 500 mark show that ANGLERS CARE.
